Ian Thomas (born april 30 1997 as Ian Thomas Hoelen) is a artist from Belgium/Europe.
It all started back in 2011 when he made a Dutch cover of Justin Bieber's megahit "Baby". While rehearsing the song at home , his stepfather, actor/singer Chris van Tongelen, secretly video-taped his performance. Unaware of the impact it would give, he then uploaded the video on YouTube. Within days it went viral and became a massive smash. TV channels and radio stations shared the video and it came to the attention of a major record label. Not long after the hype started, Ian Thomas recorded his own version of "Baby" in a professional studio and it was released officially. Not long thereafter, he recorded his début album "More than a game" including hits and original material. The album went gold in Belgium and a new teen idol was born. Ian Thomas not only became a famous singer, he was also in demand as an actor and a model. But music remains his first love. In April 2013, he released his sophomore album "Diversity", which went Top 20 in his homeland. He then decided to bring the music he has always loved the most, urban pop, and stick to this genre. And now with a new management and record label on his side, Ian Thomas is ready for the next step in his career : the world. After two N1 singles, "Rain" and "Walking on air" (with Anise K, Lance Bass, Bella Blue & Snoop Dogg), and a participation in the Flemish version of "Celebrity Splash!" (he finished second), Ian Thomas is back today with "Another round", another single taken from his forthcoming third album, "Game time".
